Victor Moses' equaliser earned Crystal Palace a draw after Jon Stead had given Ipswich the lead - but the Eagles remain in the relegation zone.
The home side took the lead when Stead finished into the corner from 12 yards after good work from Jonathan Walters.
However, that lead was short lived as teenager Moses took advantage of a Richard Wright fumble to head home.
Palace's Ben Watson missed a great chance when he failed to convert Paul Ifill's cross when just five yards out.
Ipswich manager Jim Magilton's response to being jeered by fans:
"I've got to live with it, it's part and parcel of the game, and I certainly do know what I'm doing.
