Sheffield Tigers face a race against time to get their Owlerton track ready for Thursday's clash with in-form Somerset Rebels.
The track has suffered major damage in recent weeks due to both the bad weather and from hosting a stock car race on Friday.
"Weather wise it has been pretty rough really," Tigers promoter Neil Machin told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"However, we've got a good forecast and we should be ready."
The Tigers will again use the rider replacement facility for the injured Ricky Ashworth (wrist).
Machin's side can have a major say on the destination of the Premier League title as Somerset are vying for top spot with the Edinburgh Monarchs and go into the meeting fresh from a convincing win over Reading on Monday.
