Howe's foot injury flared up again in the loss at Swindon |
David Howe has added to Wolverhampton's injury worries after a heavy fall in the 63-29 defeat at Swindon. The incident in heat seven aggravated a foot injury that has threatened to keep Howe out of a busy week for Wolves, who have three matches in three nights. Henning Bager has been called up as a guest for Friday night's trip to high-flying Lakeside. Bager is a Purfleet track specialist and may also take on some of the rides from the absent Niels Kristian Iversen. Only skipper Freddie Lindgren showed any real form in the defeat at Swindon, his 12-point haul supported by six from Jesper B Monberg and four from debutant Morten Risager. Lindgren's little brother Ludvig was also making his first appearance for Wolves, the 17-year old chipped in with three points. After Friday's trip to Lakeside, the Monmore-based club complete this week's hectic schedule by visiting Eastbourne on Saturday night.
