Lindgren knows Wolves' form has to improve

Wolves skipper Freddie Lindgren has said a win against local rivals Coventry Bees could be what they need to ignite their faltering season.

Wolves are bottom of the Elite League and have lost three of their last four meetings but Lindgren said beating the Bees would give his side a lift.

"We know how tough Coventry will be but it would be a great boost for us if we could beat them," he said.

"We need to hit back from our defeat to Lakeside and we'll be aiming for that."

Wolves will be without Kenneth Hansen, who has been ruled out after failing to shake off a virus.

Chris Neath will replace the Dane in the Wolves line-up for the meeting at Monmore Green (1930 BST).

Meanwhile young rider Nicolai Klindt won the Danish Under-21 Championship in Fjelsted on Sunday.

His fellow Wolves rider, Kenneth Hansen, finished eighth.
