Rossiter is not happy with the majority of his riders |
Swindon's hopes of finishing in the top two in the Elite League suffered a massive blow after they were beaten 51-42 at home to Poole on Thursday. The table-topping Pirates repeated their feat of being the only away side to have won at the Abbey this season. "We've done really well this year but we've raised the bar so we should have come up to it," manager Alun Rossiter told BBC Radio Swindon. Leigh Adams and Jurica Pavlic were the only Swindon riders who impressed. "I don't know what to say. I think the programme tells the story," continued Rossiter. "Zero points from Travis [McGowan], five from Mads [Korneliussen] and two from Troy [Batchelor] just really sums it all up. "It's very frustrating, I'm very disappointed and upset at the moment." Swindon now face a trip to second-placed Lakeside on Friday.
