Swindon continued their impressive home form in the Elite League with a 49-44 win over Peterborough on Thursday.
Captain Leigh Adams scored his 100th maximum for the Robins with a paid 12-point return, a score equalled by man-of-the-match James Wright.
Co-owner Gary Patchett told BBC Radio Swindon that the Robins had made hard work of the win.
"It probably turned out a little bit closer than we envisaged when we were 14 points ahead," he said.
"But Troy Batchelor was ill and couldn't take his last ride.
"We also didn't put out our strongest pairing in heat 15 because the meeting was won and Leigh wanted to get away to prepare for the Grand Prix on Saturday."
The win was the Robins' 10th at home in the Elite League, with two draws and a single defeat at the hands of leaders Poole.
Kenneth Bjerre top-scored for Peterborough with 12 points, and the result leaves the Panthers just one place off the bottom of the table.
Swindon are now third, a point behind Lakeside after the Hammers' victory at Ipswich.
