Cooper believes he is beginning to rediscover his form

Paul Cooper turned in a brilliant display as the Sheffield Tigers romped to a 55-38 win over Newcastle Diamonds.

The York-born rider produced one of the best performances of his career with a 13+3 haul in Thursday's victory.

The 26-year-old told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I have been disappointing so far this season but my racing is coming together now."

The Tigers travel to the Diamonds for the return Premier League meeting on Sunday at the Newcastle Stadium.
