John Oliver was impressive for the Stars as they beat the Scorpions

King's Lynn Stars saw off Premier League newcomers Scunthorpe Scorpions 63-28 at the Norfolk Arena.

In a deceptively competitive meeting, visiting riders Magnus Karlsson and Viktor Bergstrom both won heats.

Kevin Doolan was superb once again, winning five out of five heats, while John Oliver had a good night gaining nine points for the team.

The Stars are now top of the Premier League, and are the first team to achieve 1,000 points this season.
