Lambert is enjoying a purple patch for King's Lynn

The King's Lynn Stars made the perfect start to a busy few days for the team in Speedway's Premier League.

A 68-25 win over the Somerset Rebels was their biggest win this season, with Somerset the current league leaders.

Captain Tomas Topinka, heat leader Kevin Doolan and Simon Lambert all remained unbeaten on the night.

The Stars now face a busy weekend with an away meeting at Scunthorpe on Friday and another at Stoke on Saturday, they will top the table if they win both.
