Plymouth Devils have gone top of speedway's Conference League after beating leaders Scunthorpe 58-34 at St Boniface Arena on Friday night. Nicki Glanz and Mark Simmonds both got maximum points for the Devils as they cruised into an eight-point lead after the first four races. Kyle Hughes and Seemond Stephens both scored highly to ensure Plymouth secured victory. The Devils are now one point clear of Scunthorpe at the top of the table. It was Scunthorpe's second consecutive away defeat of the season. Plymouth's next match is the re-arranged Conference Cup second leg with Weymouth Wildcats on Friday 4 July.
