Hampel is on compassionate leave and will miss the meeting

Ipswich Witches head into Thursday's home meeting against Belle Vue looking for a seventh straight victory.

The Witches are second in the Elite League table after Wednesday's 50-40 success at Poole - their third away win in the space of just five days.

Rory Schlein of Coventry is expected to guest for the Witches in place of Polish rider Jarek Hampel, who has been granted compassionate leave.

A rider replacement will cover for injured Ipswich captain Chris Louis.
