Mildenhall's first win of the season came at the ninth time of asking

Mildenhall Fen Tigers beat King's Lynn 46-44 in the Premier Trophy on Saturday to record their first win of the season, before losing again on Sunday.

The Suffolk side - who had lost all eight of their previous meetings - were led by an excellent performance from captain Robbie Kessler, who scored 16.

However, they crashed out of the Premier League KO Cup to Redcar Bears, who won 50-40 and 103-80 on aggregate.

The Fen Tigers' next meeting is at home to Reading in the League on Sunday.
