Knaresborough motorcyclist Dan Linfoot has suffered a blow in the British Supersport Championship. He broke his foot in qualifying at Snetterton in Norfolk at the weekend and is likely to need an operation. Linfoot was second on the provisional grid before he crashed, breaking four bones in his foot. He will miss round six at Knockhill next month and possibly round seven at Mallory Park, depending on how long he takes to recover from the operation.
