William Dunlop joined CD Racing midway through this season

William Dunlop is to return to the Isle of Man TT in 2009 in the colours of CD Yamaha Racing.

The Ballymoney rider missed this year's event but will compete next year on new Superbike, Supersport and Superstock machines for team owner Chris Dowd.

The 23-year-old will also take in the North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix and selected national road races.

Dunlop will begin his season by racing at the Daytona races in the United States of America in March.

He joined forces with the CD Racing team for the latter half of this season.
