Martin secures 600cc ride for UGP

Guy Martin
Guy Martin won four races at the 2006 Ulster Grand Prix

Guy Martin will ride a 600cc Honda sponsored by Wilson Craig at next week's Ulster Grand Prix at Dundrod.

The Lincolnshire rider has agreed a deal to ride the bike, in addition to the Hydrex Hondas he will ride in the Superbike and Superstock events.

Martin has not competed in the 600cc class since the Isle of Man TT in June, opting to compete only on a Superbike at the Southern 100 races in July.

The Kirmington rider has five Ulster Grand Prix wins, four of them in 2006.

He has yet to register a victory in an international road race this season, having suffered mechanical failures while leading the feature event at the North West 200 and the TT Superbike race.
