 Plater's team are 12 after three rounds |
Lincolnshire motorbike rider Steve Plater took points for Yamaha Austria in the Japanese round of the World Endurance series. The 38-year-old from Woodhall Spa was making his debut in Japan as part of a three-man team. Speaking after the race, Plater said: "We are pretty happy with that result. We were 11th and the first permanent team over the line." Plater along with Igor Jerman and Steve Martin are 12th after three rounds.
