Toseland narrowly missed out on his first double win of the season

The Ten Kate Honda rider dominated race one, only briefly losing the lead to Troy Bayliss before coming home ahead of Nori Haga and Ruben Xaus.

Race two was closer, with Toseland and Bayliss locked in a tense battle.

The lead changed hands four times on lap 20 before Bayliss snatched victory from Toseland right on the line.

Aftewards, Toseland was disappointed to have missed out on his first ever double win by just 0.009 secs.

"I had to ride so fast around the last lap I braked a bit deep. The wily fox (Bayliss) came past me, what a race," he said.

"I'm so disappointed for the team and everybody in Holland not to have a double win.

"Compliments to the team with first and second, the consistency is there."
