Toseland's pole place is his first of the season |
Britain's James Toseland earned his first pole of the season after qualifying fastest for Sunday's World Superbike races in Holland. The Ten Kate Honda rider clocked one minute 38.603 seconds, ahead of Ducati duo Lorenzo Lanzi and Troy Bayliss.
"It's my first pole since Misano last year so I'm really pleased. We've won at every round so far this season but not been on pole," Toseland said.
"I'm really pleased for the team as well, to do it on their home ground."
Suzuki rider Max Biaggi completed the front row in fourth place, with Ruben Xaus in fifth place.
Troy Corser, who impressed in practice on Friday, had to settle for sixth place.
