MotoGP rider Jeremy McWilliams returned to the track in Qatar on Tuesday for the first time since his serious crash in Spain last November. The 42-year-old completed 18 laps on his Ilmor X3 machine in his first ride since breaking his left femur and collarbone and damaging his hand.
"I feel good but my performance could definitely have been better," he said.
"There is an enormous amount of work ahead of us but I'm confident we're making progress. It felt fantastic."
