Chaz Davies finished 21st in the 250cc event in the final round of the MotoGP World Championships in Valencia, Spain. The Welshman, 19, lost his place on the Campetella Racing team in June but got a wild-card ride on a Grillini Honda. Fellow Briton Dan Linfoot failed to finish on the Winona Honda as the race was won by San Marino's Alex de Angelis on the Master Aspar Aprilia. Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo won the overall title with a final race fourth spot on the Fortuna Aprilia.
