Robert Dunlop repeated his North West 200 success |
Robert Dunlop just edged out Darran Lindsay in a thrilling 125cc race at the Southern 100 on the Isle of Man. The Ballymoney man beat the Lisburn rider by 0.001 seconds with Chris Palmer third and Michael Dunlop fifth.
Australian Cameron Donald won the solo championship race from Guy Martin, Ian Lougher and Dubliner Martin Finnegan.
Martin won the 600 event with Lougher second, Lindsay third, Donald fourth and Paul Hunt fifth while Chris Palmer took the honours in the 250cc class.
It was Palmer's second 250 success of the week and Nigel Beattie was second, Yarno Holland completed the podium and fellow Ulsterman Barry Davidson was fourth.
Earlier in the week Lougher won the opening senior event and Lindsay was best of the 600 machines in the same race.
Wednesday night's race programme was cancelled as persistent heavy rain made track conditions treacherous.
