 Ian Lougher scored an early win at the Southern 100 |
Ian Lougher won the opening 10-lap Senior Solo Founders race at the Southern 100 on the Isle of Man. The Dromore-based Welshman set a new lap record at 111.09mph on his final lap and took victory from Guy Martin, Cameron Donald and Martin Finnegan.
Lisburn's Darran Lindsay won the 600cc race with Chris Palmer second and William Dunlop from Ballymoney third.
Chris Palmer won the Junior race, Lougher was second, Lindsay third, Nigel Beattie fourth and Dunlop fifth.
William's brother, Michael Dunlop completed the top six and Yarno Holland was seventh.
