 Ryan Farquhar scored a treble at last year's Cookstown 100 |
Ryan Farquhar has been ruled out of Saturday's Cookstown 100 road races after suffering a fractured left arm in practising on Friday night. The TAS Suzuki rider sustained the injury after colliding with another rider's machine during practice for the Junior race for 250cc machines.
Farquhar is also likely to miss the Tandragee 100 and North West 200 races and is a doubtful starter for the TT.
The Dungannon man was a treble winner at last year's Cookstown event.
Martin Finnegan, Adrian Archibald, Guy Martin, Raymond Porter and Cameron Donald are expected to star at the Orritor circuit on Saturday.
Robert Dunlop faces sons William and Michael in the 125cc classes.
A total prize fund of �10,000 is on offer for the 13-race programme, with roads closing at 10.00 BST and the first race due off around 1045 BST.
