Ryan Farquhar scored a treble at last year's Cookstown 100 |
Ryan Farquhar and Adrian Archibald head a quality field for the Cookstown 100 road races on Saturday 29 April. The two Northern Ireland riders will face stiff competition from Guy Martin, Martin Finnegan, Raymond Porter, Cameron Donald and Ian Hutchinson.
Robert Dunlop makes his return to the roads in the 125cc class where he will be up against sons William and Michael.
A total prize fund of 10,000 will be on offer for the 13-race programme and 60 newcomers have been signed up.
One man who it appears will not be on the grid is Lisburn rider Darran Lindsay.
Lindsay appears to be the subject of a misunderstanding between racer and the organising Cookstown club.
"I thought I had reached a verbal agreement with the club that I would be there but when I spoke to the club this week, they said the entries were full and they could not let me go.
"It is just a misunderstanding and it is my fault more than anything."
Practising for the event will take place on Friday 28 April.
