Ryan Farquhar made a great start to the road-racing season by claiming a treble at the Cookstown 100 on Saturday. Farquhar won the Supersport 600 race from Bruce Anstey and Richard Britton after Britton had failed to negotiate Gortin Corner on the third lap.
Anstey came off at the same corner to hand victory to Farquhar in the open A race ahead of Britton and Guy Martin.
Farquhar passed Britton late on to win the Cookstown 100. Nigel Moore and Darran Lindsay also earned wins.
