Bayliss has 125 points, 22 ahead of Corser and 39 more than Toseland

Bayliss went into the third round of the championship with a one-point lead over Britain's James Toseland.

But the Australian's advantage in the standings is now up to 22 following his perfect 50-point haul in Spain.

Corser, who has moved up to second in the standings above Toseland, came close to beating his fellow countryman in race two but was passed late on.

Ducati Xerox rider Bayliss said: "I am very happy with the two race wins. I hoped Troy was going to have problems in the second race, like he did in the first, but I didn't expect him to be so quick early on.

"It was disheartening to see him pull away but I knew if I maintained my pace I would have a chance."

Corser bemoaned his rival being able to "get on the throttle quicker out of the corners" after his double defeat.

Bayliss waited until five laps from the end of race one to take the race-one lead, which he held to the finish.

His Italian team-mate Lorenzo Lanzi followed him and Corser in third place.

In race two, Corser looked to have the making of Bayliss in the early part of the race but was once again passed in the latter stages - Corser nudging ahead into turn one on lap 22.

Lanzi sealed another third place, while Toseland managed ninth and 11th in the two races.
