Gordon Crockard had a disappointing day in the latest round of the World Motocross Championship in Spain. After qualifying 15th, Crockard was forced out of the opening race when he was struck by a stone on lap one while in eighth place.
Crockard, who competes for the Wulfsport Honda team, had to get stitches to repair a split lip and was unable to take part in the second race.
Ballyclare man Martin Barr failed to qualify for Sunday's races.
