Dromore-based Welshman Ian Lougher won the Supersport Isle of Man Junior TT after fending off the challenge of John McGuinness. Lougher came home just over 22 seconds ahead of the English rider with Jason Griffiths of Wales in third place.
Northern Ireland's Ryan Farquhar was forced to dropped out early on the third lap while leading by one second.
His compatriot Richard Britton also dropped out on lap four with Adrian Archibald finishing in ninth place.
Lougher was delighted after his win.
"That was a great race. The 600 Honda is a lovely little bike to ride," he added.
"Last year, I hoped I would win here but I tipped off after going too hard."
