Former British Superbike champion Shane Byrne is considering returning to the championship next year. The 2003 winner is now in MotoGP and told BBC Radio Kent: "I've had a few enquiries and it's so tempting.
"I get on with everybody really well and so much of me misses being at the front and enjoying winning races.
"But the other half of me thinks that if I could get something a little more competitive in MotoGP, so I'm making progress, I'd love to stay there."
He added: "But if that can't happen, and staying in MotoGP means just picking up a point here and there, I'll have to think about other things."
