Lindsay lands hat-trick at Athea

Darran Lindsay scored a hat-trick at Athea on Sunday
Darran Lindsay secured a hat-trick of victories at the Athea road races in Limerick on Sunday.

The Lisburn rider won the Grand Final and the 125cc race and was awarded victory in the 600cc event after Ryan Farquhar was disqualified.

Farquhar won the Open race from Lindsay who was also second in the 125cc class which was won by William Dunlop.

Lindsay won the Grand Final from John Burrows after early leader Farquhar crashed out unhurt on the first lap.
