NI trio take road race wins
Lisburn's Darran Lindsay
Lisburn's Darran Lindsay won in the 250 and 600 classes
Northern Ireland riders Darran Lindsay, Richard Britton and Ryan Farquhar were winners at the Faugheen 50 Road Races in Tipperary on Sunday.

Lisburn rider Lindsay claimed a double with victory in the 250 event and the first 600 race.

There were success for Enniskillen man Britton in the Grand Final with Dungannon rider Farquhar winning the second 600 race.

Marc Curtain took the 125 race ahead of Robert Dunlop and his son William.

Meanwhile, John Laverty finished eighth in the European Superstock Championship race at Brands Hatch on Sunday.

The Toomebridge rider started fifth on the grid after an impressive qualifying session on Saturday.

Laverty secured eight championship points and is now 12th in the standings on 27 points.

Italy's Gianluca Vizziello won the race with compatriot Lorenzo Alfonsi second and Kenan Sofuoglu third.
