Ryan Farquhar disqualified from the Regal 600cc podium |
Dungannon rider Ryan Farquhar was sensationally disqualified after winning the Regal 600 race at Saturday's Skerries 100 in north county Dublin.
The Dungannon rider refused to allow his Kawasaki to be checked by race scrutineers after the event.
Adrian Archibald, who had finished behind Farquhar, was promoted to take the win with Richard Britton second.
Farquhar won the 250cc race from Davy Morgan while Mark Curtain was the 125cc winner from Paul Robinson and William Dunlop.
Robert Dunlop retired from the 125 race.
Later in the meeting, Archibald crashed out while he was leading in the Grand Final race.
The Ballymoney rider wasn't injured in the accident.
The race had then to be abandoned because of debris on the track with Martin Finnegan in the lead.
Guy Martin won both Support Races while Finnegan claimed the Open A race in a new course record time of 106.59mph ahead of Archibald and Britton.
