Crockard third in Belgium
Newtownards rider Gordon Crockard was runner-up in last year's World Championship
Gordon Crockard was over 44 seconds behind the winner
Newtownards rider Gordon Crockard put in an impressive performance at the Belgian 250cc Motocross Grand Prix on Sunday.

The KTM ace, who qualified in 12th position for the race, finished in third place and picks up 20 vital championship points.

He was over 44 seconds behind the winner and reigning world champion Mickael Pichon of France, with Kiwi Joshua Coppins coming home in second.

Crockard's KTM team-mate Jamie Dobb of England was fifth.
