Manor Motorsport team boss John Booth admits they would not have been able to enter Formula One had it not been for the new salary cap. The FIA has brought in a £40m limit on teams' spending from the start of the 2010 season. "Until the beginning of this year it was impossible for any privately funded company to enter Formula One," Booth told BBC Radio Sheffield. "The cap on the budget has allowed us to take this next step."
