Jordan critical of Ford
Eddie Jordan
Jordan's team have scored five points this season
Eddie Jordan said US car giant Ford had "behaved appallingly" in their decision to sell their Jaguar Formula One team and engine maker Cosworth.

Jordan and Minardi also use Cosworth engines and are battling to find a new supplier in time for next season.

"To say I am disappointed with Ford is an understatement," Jordan told the Guardian newspaper.

In another blow to Jordan and Minardi, Toyota have said it is too late for them to supply engines to other teams.

Jordan and Minardi have been left in the lurch by Ford's decision to sell Cosworth and are now struggling to find engines for next season.

"I am angered that after a long relationship I should get seven minutes' notice that they were pulling out," said Jordan.

"I have been trying to keep my total dismay under control."
