Captain Cameron Woodward believes Eastbourne Eagles will beat Poole in the Elite League play-off final.

The Eagles will take on the Pirates after beating Lakeside Hammers on aggregate on Monday.

Woodward told BBC Sussex: "We've just got to hit them hard and make good starts and fast corners.

"They're beatable and it's definitely something we're up for. We want this and we've got the opportunity now we're in the final."

He added: "It's a team sport and when everyone is jumping in the spirit lifts, and everyone rides above themselves. That's what we'll need to do to beat Poole."

The first leg of the final will be at Arlington on Monday, 3 October, with the return leg seven days later.
