Shields bagged a season high 13 points in a win over King's Lynn last month |
Lakeside Hammers rider Adam Shields is set to be out for another month with a knee injury. Shields sustained the knock whilst riding for Australia against Great Britain earlier this month. He returned to hospital this week and was told he needed to see a specialist in mid-July. The Hammers will use rider replacement whilst Shields is out, with their next Elite League fixture at Swindon Robins on 30 June. Lakeside have had an indifferent start to the Elite League season, winning seven and losing eight of their opening 15 matches.
