Stoke Potters rider Jaimie Pickard will compete in the British Under-21 final at Lakeside on 15 April following the withdrawal of Hackney's Ben Hopwood. Pickard had initially qualified as a reserve for the event, but will now take his place in the 16-man field. Pickard's team-mate Ben Reade, joint seventh in the semi, will now be a reserve for the final. Both will ride for the Potters for the first time in a challenge match against Team Viking at Loomer Road on Saturday.
