Danny King is the Brummies' second signing in the space of 24 hours

Elite League newcomers Birmingham Brummies have completed the signing of Great Britain international Danny King following his departure from Ipswich.

King, 24, agreed terms with Brummies boss Graham Drury after the Witches dropped into the Premier League.

"This is a fresh start for me," said King. "I'm thrilled to be linking up with Birmingham and the challenge of taking them into the Elite League."

The Brummies also completed a deal for Danish youngster Rene Bach on Tuesday.

Birmingham will be lining up in the Elite League for the first time in March after four successful years in the Premier League.

King continued: "Birmingham is a good track with good facilities and I'm sure it can be a success in the Elite League. I'm really pleased to be joining them."
