Bach scored more than 500 points for Diamonds last season

Newcastle Diamonds have re-signed Danish rider Rene Bach and Stuart Robson to their roster for the 2011 Premier League season.

Bach, 20, replaces the outgoing Kenni Larsen as number one after an impressive 2010 campaign at number four with the treble-winners.

Robson, 34, returns to Newcastle for a third spell, having initially left to join Coventry Bees in 1995.

He lists Hull, Lakeside Hammers and Rye House among his former clubs.

Both riders will join Mark Lemon as the Diamonds first-choice trio.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are continuing to seek a replacement for Australian rider Dakota North, after he rejected a return to Brough Park.

The 19-year-old rode on loan from Elite League side Peterborough Panthers in 2010.
