Harvey won seven races in the 2010 Formula BMW Europe series

Lincolnshire racing driver Jack Harvey has announced that he will drive for Carlin Motorsport in the 2011 British Formula Three series.

The 17-year-old, who will again be backed by the Racing Steps Foundation, finished runner-up in this season's Formula BMW Europe series.

Carlin are one of the most successful teams in British F3, winning seven drivers' titles since 2001.

Their previous drivers include current Formula One racer Jaime Alguersuari.
