Chris Morton hopeful on Belle Vue Aces play-off place
Belle Vue Aces boss Chris Morton still hopes his side can force their way into the play-offs following their 56-38 victory over Peterborough.
Victory for the Aces has taken them within four points of Lakeside with six meets remaining this season.
Morton told BBC Radio Manchester: "I think what we've done is respond to the opportunity that has come back to us.
"If we can get some away wins and win all of our home matches we've got a chance of getting in the play-offs."
Belle Vue captain Hans Anderson top scored with 14 points against the Panthers and hopes the win can give the club some momentum in the final fixtures.
He said: "Thursday is a must win meeting if we are to have any chance of getting into the play-offs.
"We know what we've got to do and hopefully we can perform."
