Devon racing driver Harry Tincknell will go into summer break of the 2010 Renault Championship fifth in the drivers standings.

The 18-year-old from Exeter brought home 30 points from the last two rounds of races in Croft, North Yorkshire.

Tincknell, who drives for CRS Racing, finished seventh in the first race at Croft, and eighth in the second.

The next two rounds of the Championship are not until August, when the drivers reconvene at Snetterton, Norfolk.

Tincknell said: "We've now got a six week break so the plan is to relax, recoup and get charged up for the second half of the season.

"I was quickest at Snetterton in testing and won both races in the Winter Cup last year, so am confident that the team and I will be on form for a positive result."
