Taylor Poole was injured in the Premier League defeat at Newcastle |
Taylor Poole will ride for Stoke Potters against Birmingham Brummies at Perry Barr on Wednesday night after recovering from a hand injury. The teenager has not raced since suffering the problem in the Premier League defeat at Newcastle on 30 May. "I feel fine," said Poole. "I got some good laps in on Sunday and I'm looking forward to returning." Skipper Jason Bunyan will again be missing for the Potters after failing to recover from a knee problem. "I'm feeling a lot better than I was," said Bunyan, who has been out of action for over two months: "But I'm not quite right at the moment and it will be a couple of more weeks before I'm ready to ride in league action." An injury-hit Potters side beat Birmingham 48-42 in their last outing at Loomer Road on 5 June.
