Polish rider Kamil Brzozowski has left Peterborough Panthers after failing to score in all of his three meetings.

The 23-year-old will not be available for the Elite League fixture at Wolverhampton on Monday.

Panthers have applied for a facility rider on the grounds that Brzozowski is not fulfilling his contract.

Director of speedway Peter Oakes said: "Out of the blue we got a text followed by an email. We understand he is seriously wondering about retiring."

He added: "While Kamil hasn't scored we were prepared to persevere with him because he has an impressive Polish record."
