Newcastle Diamonds rider Adam McKinna is a doubt for the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his neck in the meeting with Stoke Potters. The 23-year-old collided with Stoke rider Taylor Poole at the first turn in the second heat of the Premier League clash on Sunday. "The first reports suggested Adam would be in a neck brace for a fortnight or so," Diamonds boss George English said. "Now the prognosis is worse and they tell us September at the earliest." The league season finishes at the end of August, but McKinna could be back for September's Premier League Knockout Cup semi-finals.
