Wolves squeezed past Eastbourne 46-44 on Monday night

Wolverhampton are yet to discover the full extent of the shoulder injury suffered by Joe Haines during Monday's Elite League win over Eastbourne.

The newly-crowned British under-21 champion suffered a fracture in a heavy fall at Monmore Green.

"Joe returns to hospital on Wednesday when the extent of his lay-off will become clearer," said Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten.

Haines could miss the British semi-final at King's Lynn next month.

The 18-year old would have had some advantage in that meeting as he represents the Norfolk club in the Premier League.
