Birmingham Brummies hoping to build on early momentum

Jake Anderson
Anderson missed the Brummies' weekend win at Stoke

Birmingham Brummies are at full strength for Wednesday night's Premier League meeting at home to Newcastle.

Jake Anderson returns to the line-up after a stunning maximum for his parent club Dudley Heathens over the weekend.

The Brummies have made a flying start to the season and are aiming for maximum points against Newcastle.

"They have strength in every department and are sure to push us hard - it should be a good meeting for the fans," said Brummies skipper Jason Lyons.

"Hopefully, we can continue with our winning form. We want to win by more than six so we can claim all three points on offer."

Both teams are tipped to challenge for honours this season with each of them already on course for the knockout stages of the Premier Trophy.
