Ryan Farquhar was in top form on the Oliver's Mount circuit at Scarborough

Ryan Farquhar made a superb start to the season on Sunday by winning all eight races he entered in the Ian Watson Spring Cup at Scarborough.

The Dungannon rider raced to doubles in the Superbike, Supersport, Supertwins and 125/400cc classes.

Ballygowan's Michael Pearson was second behind Farquahar in the two feature races, followed both times by Kiaran Hankin and Adrian Archibald.

Davy Morgan from Saintfield was second behind Lee Vernon on both 250 races.
