Alistair Seeley in good British Superbikes start

Alistair Seeley had a third and fourth at Brands Hatch

Alistair Seeley from Carrickfergus made a good start to his first British Superbikes campaign with a third and fourth place at Brands Hatch on Monday.

Suzuki team-mate Michael Laverty was fourth in the second race while William Dunlop took sixth in the 125 event.

Tommy Hill and James Ellison were the Superbike winners.

Australian Cameron Donald warmed up for the international road racing season with two Irish Superbike wins at Kirkistown's short circuit meeting.

The Relentless TAS Suzuki star saw off the challenge of runner-up Marshall Neill in both races.

Neill won the Mayor's Trophy, with Gerard Kinghan second, Bruce Anstey third, Stephen Thompson fourth and Michael Dunlop fifth.

Anstey and Glenn Irwin were Supersport race winners and Ryan Farquhar claimed the Supertwins honours.

Paul Robinson won both 125cc races and Denver Robb and Mark Hanna were 250cc winners.
